We think this 6m x 4m garden gym and office looks perfect in, what was, an unused space at the end of a Welling garden.
As our client is tall, we were able to increase the external height of this build to 3m (2.42m internal height) by achieving a minimum of a 2m gap between all garden room walls and any boundary, therefore meeting standard planning constraints.
With no external side access available, all materials were taken through the house from the front. Corex was added to the floor and kitchen area to keep it protected. As there were no ground works involved with this build and therefore no large, bulky items to bring through, it was simply materials and team tool bags that had to be carried to the garden.
Clad in light brown composite on front, left and side walls, this build gives a natural look and blends in beautifully, yet discreetly, with the surrounding flora and fauna. To help keep the cost down a little, the non-visible back is clad in white UPVC.
Given the recent rise in temperatures this month, the added air con gives welcome relief both during workout sessions and whilst sat at the laptop.
As we are a turnkey operation, this room was ready for use as soon as we completed the job and we are thrilled that our client loves the new multi-function space.
