An awkward, unusual, shaped corner has become a loved corner again on this build and demonstrates how a bespoke garden room can truly benefit. This room has 5 walls, fitting it beautifully into the rear area and still maintaining a discreet, sleek look.
A precast garage originally sat in this space, which our clients chose to demolish and remove themselves, leaving a usable concrete base to which we added padstones to create an airflow underneath the room, supplementing the footprint with groundscrews. We followed the outline of the old garage with an additional trapezoid-shaped extension to create and maximise usable space.
In addition to the anthracite grey 1.8m UPVC French door, our clients chose to add two openable anthracite grey UPVC windows; one 800mm (w) x 1,000mm (h) and one 1,300mm (w) x 360mm (h).
The room has been finished with the front facing and left walls clad in composite light wood and the back and right walls in white UPVC.
We really enjoyed building this garden room which was a break from the usual regular shapes that we do and are thrilled that our clients now have a fabulous new space in which to chill out and work.
