An old garage once sat on the site of this beautiful garden room and our charming client wanted to replace it with something usable that would enhance the surroundings and enable her to enjoy the garden, the wildlife within and some afternoon sun.
The team set about taking down and disposing of the garage and left half a boundary wall to save our client putting up a fence. They extended the existing concrete base, adding a damp proof latex self leveller to ensure the build would remain dry. Padstones were then added to supplement the foundations.
Internally, a stud wall was erected to create a separate office and bathroom space within the build and doors added to separate these from the main space of the garden room.
Red Cedar was chosen for the external cladding and the back wall, which cannot be seen, clad in White UPVC.
Anthracite grey 3m UPVC Sliding Door with chrome handles was added to allow in as much light as possible and our client also chose to add 2 Anthracite grey full-length windows.
EPDM roof, guttering, anthracite grey Soffit and Fascia were added as standard and the room was fitted with fully certified electrics, professionally plastered, a basic base coat applied, the laminate flooring and skirting fitted – all also as standard.
