The area at the bottom of the garden was becoming hard to manage, the pond no longer held any life and having an open plan house meant few options for privacy. Our lovely clients gave us a call to see we could assist and we jumped at the chance to help them maximise the space available through creating a modern, polished garden room.
Our specialist contractor prepared the area by clearing and removing bushes, demolishing an old shed, pergola and redundant green house. They also filled in the unused pond and removed the rockery. This left us with a lovely space on day 1 of the build to install the ground screw foundations.
An anthracite grey 3m 3-panel aluminium Bifold door links the garden room with the outdoor seating area beautifully and an anthracite grey UPVC 600mm (w) x 1,200mm window, let’s in more light and offers a view of the garden.
As the front and right walls of the build were clad in white Cedral Cement Lap, the guttering system and fascia are also white to match. The non-visible back and left walls of the build are clad in white UPVC and the front wall was extended to the right-hand side of the build to hide the door for an integrated shed.
We love the continued summery feel of this garden room and that it is a perfect fit without dominating the bottom of the garden.
