What better way to expend the stresses of the day than heading to the gym… without leaving your own home! That’s exactly what our lovely clients wanted us to help them achieve when they approached us with an odd shaped space at the back of their garden.
This lovely, fully insulated build is discreetly nestled in an odd corner meaning that this is not a regular garden room. However, the bespoke size and large step up to the area did not deter our team who built an eye-catching room, perfect for a good work-out or space for some family time.
The build is clad in larch on the front, left and side walls with the back wall clad in white UPVC, which is non-visible from the garden. As well as an anthracite grey UPVC 3m sliding door, our busy clients also chose an anthracite grey full-length window on the right hand wall allowing the room to flood with natural light as well as providing a view of the garden whilst working out.
As with all our builds, unless otherwise requested, the garden gym comes with an EPDM roof, guttering, anthracite grey Soffit and Facia, fully certified electrics within the building, 3 double sockets and 4 interior downlights. It was professionally plastered and finished with a base coat whitewashed walls and a laminate floor and skirting laid.
We were thrilled to hear that our client uses the gym daily, sometimes for long periods, and we’re so glad that we were able to turn a seemingly worthless space into something special.
