This lovely family wanted to get rid of the existing shed and debris at the bottom of their garden and use the space to create a multi-functioning room in which to work, rest and play. We incorporated into their design an office space, a small bathroom and a bar.
We took out an existing raised concrete base and used the flat concrete base under the shed alongside ground screws and blockwork for the foundations. The fully insulated walls help to keep the sound in and the cold out, making this usable all year round.
The front and side walls of the room were finished with white silicone render coupled with a timber frame structure allowing for the look of a traditional build but with a much reduced timeframe and cost. This eye-catching build turned out to be stunning.
We are super happy with the garden room that was created by Bexley Garden Rooms. We are using the room on a daily basis as an office, TV room and bar. The entire experience was positive, from the quality of work through to the friendly and attentive nature of the team carrying out the build. We would thoroughly recommend BGR.
