Our clients wanted extra space in which to work and chill, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy home.
Before we could add ground screws to make up the foundations, a tree needed to be removed and the stump ground down to make the site level. Our lovely client chose to do this job independently and we began the ground screw work and the build when they were ready.
An Alaskan Cedar Dura composite cladding was vertically attached to the front and right side of the room and our clients also chose to clad the back and left-side wall, which would not be seen, horizontally in white UPVC.
An anthracite grey 1.8m UPVC French Doors, without side window panels, was paired with an openable anthracite grey UPVC window.
Fully certified electrics are sited within the building and an SWA cable was run from the main property. We also ran an ethernet cable run and installed an infrared bar heater.
To finish, the room was professionally plastered, painted in a light mist coat and 12mm laminate floor and 94mm bullnose skirting installed.
