A cosy art studio nestled in the woods – that is what this build felt like!
With access a key issue at this property, we relied on the team’s years of experience to navigate a micro digger through a gap it really shouldn’t have gone through. Once we were in, we moved around 15 tonnes of earth to create a level area to construct on.
Using railway sleepers to create a retaining wall and enclose the decking, we then used ground screws and constructed the room. Fully insulated with an internal wall to create two spaces, we installed a sliding internal door to maximise space, patio doors, and a full-length window with a smaller openable window for the storage room.
Once plastered, final fix electrics were completed, and the room was painted and flooring installed. Finished with composite decking and a patio area for an outdoor work space, creating the perfect art studio in a secluded location.
