Welcome to this week’s project update from Bexley Garden Rooms, covering progress for the week commencing 19 January 2026.
Rain, rain go away!! The local precipitation has caused several issues this week but our teams have been absolute troopers driving through them all and some are even giving up their personal time to ensure the builds aren’t rushed and are completed to a high-quality standard.
- Dean, Simon and Rhys have had a headache with all the brickwork on the Swanley garage conversion, a large factor of which is that the house was built upside down!! Gas pipes have been moved and the front wall nearly complete ready for the window installation.
- We are really impressed with the 6.5m x 4.5m entertaining room with accompanying workshop that Paul and Gary have been working on in Bexley. First fix electrics done and the team finished the week by installing plenty of high-quality insulation, which will make the room perfect for year-round use.
- Shane and Max are making strides on the 7m x 4m garden gym in Bexley. Roof on, first fix electrics complete, doors in and insulation installed and room plastered.
- Richard and Ollie have worked hard, being meticulous and attentive on the West Peckham 7m x 5m garden gym to get it to this stage.
- After the ground screw installation caused a few choice words, David and Bill have caught up brilliantly on the 7m x 4m garden annexe. With shell up, first fix electrics done and insulation well and truly packed in, this room is coming along beautifully!
