Whilst it is still in the garden, this fabulous room is not on view but instead discreetly tucked round the corner, along the side of the house, giving even more privacy to whoever uses it. Despite being close to the garden boundaries, our lovely client didn’t need to worry about bothering the neighbours with noise as our garden rooms keep the noise in.
Initially, the ground needed to be prepared with a third of the footprint being levelled to create a useable space in which to install the ground screws. Once the foundations were done, the build progressed very quickly.
Our client chose black cement board on the front and right walls of this garden room, complementing the finish with an anthracite grey 3m 3-panel aluminium Bifold Door and a non-opening anthracite grey full-length 600mm (w) x1800mm (h) window.
The build was fitted with fully certified electrics and includes 3 double sockets and 4 interior downlights with our client also choosing to add some external lighting. It was finished with a basic oak effect laminate floor and bullnose skirting and a basic base coat/whitewash applied to the professionally plastered walls.
We love the sleek look of this build and are so pleased that all the family are making great use of it!
